Daves first hit pick: Radio - The Dolly Dots.

Other than presenting the morning programme 'Thro 'til One Dave may well be remembered for his Saturday
night show 'Saturday Night In' between 9.00pm and 1.00am.
In the first two hours Dave interviewed a guest however, some of the interesting things Dave also included
in the programme was his 'selection' of the music including:

C'est Sheep
and The Disco Sound of Music

...now the saddest thing is I actually went into a record shop and bought them!

Moving on, the next memorable thing on the programme was the quiz 'Six of the Best' a rolling phone-in
competition where people had to answer all six questions to win the coveted prize of six pounds worth of

here's edited highlights from the Six of the Best competition broadcast on 22nd of November 1980


The programme had an amazing following and got very silly one of the antics included building a rabbit hutch
for two toy rabbits, have you still got Hertford and Marcia (and later Arthur) Dave?

Dave now lives in Nerja - Málaga, Spain and has opened a shop with a colleague building and repairing PCs,
Dave also does some teaching in computer literacy and does quite a bit of writing for local magazines .
