At the end of the private road you have access to the Firehills, a country park in Hastings with over 500 acres of woodland and fields to explore either on bike or on foot. The terrace in the garden also has a superb view over the English Channel, on a clear day you might just see the coast of France. 
Visit the beaches of Camber Sands an area of flat sand beaches with sand dunes on the edge. The cottage is at the start of the High Wield area of South Essex, Fairlight is a great place to experience a classic and vintage atmosphere. Go to the towns of Rye, Battle and Tenterden. The village has its own pub and restaurant and farm selling fresh produce, with many tearooms and fantastic views of the sea. |
